5 Free Kindle Sci-Fi Reads




First sentence: With eyes narrowed the woman settled in the captain's chair scrutinizes the tactical reading scrolling across her hover screen.

First sentence for me is a bit rambling which is worrisome but the book is free to buy! So, we'll see when I get to reading it how it goes.

Summary: A timid slave meets a battle hardened soldier when two minds come together across light years. Together they will seed the change that must come for an entire sector.

First sentence: Chris's eyes opened like rusty garage doors.

Summary: Once infected, the virus shuts down organs, kills nerve impulses and even reprograms the way we think. The virus becomes us.

From what I scanned of this it's not set up in chapters but the time. I absolutely like the opener.

Fist sentence: A LONG, ABRASIVE, INVISIBLE TONGUE grazes the fleshy part of my left cheek.

Wait what!

Summary: Everything on Pendomus is controlled. Food and sleep are synthesized. Personal affection is unheard of. Yet, miraculously, everyone feels as though they're fulfilling their life's duty. Their calling.

First Sentence: There are sectors so dark, so barren, that starliners chart their courses along the fringes.

From what I am understanding think this is before the first book? Okay.

These were free at the time that I purchased them on January 26, 2018. I found the summary interesting enough to dive into them. I am not affiliated with the authors at all. Just figured I'd share a few science fiction books I've picked up.


When I don't have money or the ability to get to the library free ebooks online are my go to.
