About Author: Johnathan Lethem is an American novelists, essayist and short story writer. Gun, with Occasional Music is his first book that blends science fiction and detective fiction

Review: This was a fucking weird book. We're in a future where animals are able to function like humans -- talk, hold down jobs and get treated like shit. I read this as one of SciFi and Fantasy Book Clubs read a few years ago.

I don't remember a lot about it other than it was a trip from the first page until the end. The book does not end the way you'd expect this kinda thing to end.

Recommend: Yes, everyone should at least try this experience for themselves.
