Opinion: Loved this as it focused on Katniss and her need to keep her family alive. She finds friends and allies in the Games and ends up fighting for them, too.

For me even though there was a romance in it and they centered it around it. They had a reason for development of it. Survival. It was a nice change because of how frequently there's relationships and world-ending must be together romances in YA.
