#SundayQuestions: #StephenKing- Literary genius or opiate of the masses?

I've never read a book by Stephen King that's enchanted me. They were good enough.

He inspires and is loved by readers so I mean he's doing something that people like. 

I've read blog posts and comments by people saying that his books are getting too long. I don't understand that sentiment. Unless they read him for quick reads and now it's becoming a chore for them?

I haven't read anything by him that was an exercise to read due to length.

What is your thoughts on Stephen King? Do you like his work?
