#Writingprompts: Mystery Old Guy

Three questions to answer and write about this situation. What does your character do? Why does your character do this? How will this be resolved? Every prompt is a different situation.

Your character is struggling nearly homeless. The character hears someone knock on the door. The character debates whether to ignore it or not. The character decides to answer the door. An older gentleman your character has never met before stands before him. He has a friendly smile and lifts a pile of cash toward you.

“Ah! I'm glad I've caught you at home!” said the man, “Here is enough to keep your house and food in your belly for the week. Just remember you must pay me back twice as much when you get back on your feet.”

Three questions need to answer:

What does your character do?

Why does your character do this?

How will this be resolved?

Write four or more sentences explaining this situation.
