#WeedingWednesday: The Library at Mount Char / The Queen Jhansi / Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agengy

This one was SUPER easy. I am sitting here reading and debating which ended sooner than usual: The Library at Mount Char is gone. Super short weeding usually it takes by the time I've listed the third book to decide on which one to axe.

I've read positive remarks about The Library at Mount Char but it just sucked. This is an opinion post so obviously may differ from what you think of the book.

Did you read and enjoy it? Lemme know ..because I'm missing the interesting aspect to it.

#WeedingWednesday: Embassytown / The Martian / Alif the Unseen

Embassytown  by China Mieville  Shelved: May 21, 2014

Survive/Weed?: This is getting weeded. I remember vividly me trying to get through it and not succeeding. This was one of those authors I heard was interesting to read but I should have asked clarification on "interesting".

All information I put in these posts comes straight off Goodreads..except my opinions. These are detailed just so if someone may like the book that I'm keeping/tossing from my TBR.

The Martian by Andy Weir Shelved: June 12, 2014

Survive/Weed: Weeding this. It's been on my TBR for a million years and haven't picked it back up or thought about it. I know that seems like a lot of these books. But wow.

Alif the Unseen by Willow G. Wilson Shelved: Nov. 8, 2014

Survive/Weed: Well, I purchased as an ebook so I can't get rid of it. Unless you can exchange books digitally!

Now Your Opinion: What have you thought about these books? Recognize them? Read some of 'em?

Thanks for stopping by! Hope your Wednesday's going well!

#SundayQuestions: How Many Books Are On Your TBR Pile?

x
Oh no. A friend from Saudia Arabia reprimanded my lengthy To Be Read list. That I wouldn't live long enough to read them all so what's the point?

She's correct. On occasion I trim my TBR list to something reasonable. The issue is on Goodreads my TBR lists includes books from Giveaways. Which I know should mean that I'll actually go read them because I've entered a giveaway right?

But most of my giveaways are for books I've slight interest in reading. So, if I don't win them I'll probably not actively search for the book. At times there are books being given away on Goodreads that I do really really want. But most of the time it's not the case.

Currently my to be read list is 190 books. I haven't looked at it in awhile -- I will eventually. The amount may increase or decrease when I do. Ha.

How many books are on your TBR? Will you live long enough to complete the list?
